Installation and Setup Guide

Just a few steps to start your mathematical art creation journey.

This guide will help you complete the installation, environment configuration, and Pro version activation of MathArt, ensuring you can smoothly use all the advanced features of the software.

💻 1. System Installation

MacOS Users

1. Download and Install: Double-click the downloaded installation package (.dmg), then double-click installed.command to run the installation script.

2. Drag and Drop Installation: In the dialog box shown above, drag MathArt.app to the Applications directory to complete the installation. If an older version is already installed, a dialog will appear. Simply choose to overwrite it.

Starting from version v1.4.21, the MacOS platform software has been officially signed and notarized, so theoretically there should be no privacy security blocking issues.

Windows Users

1. Download and Install: Download the installation package (.exe), double-click to run it, and follow the prompts to complete the installation wizard. It is recommended to keep the default installation path.

🛠 2. Required Component Configuration (FFmpeg)

To enable high-quality video export functionality, MathArt depends on the FFmpeg component. If this is your first time using it, please follow these steps to configure:

1. Download FFmpeg: Visit the official website ffmpeg.org/download to download the version corresponding to your system.
2. Configure Environment Variables: Add FFmpeg's bin directory to your system's environment variable (PATH).

   If you are not familiar with this operation, you can also contact our technical support to get a "one-click configuration script".

🔑 3. Activate Pro Version

MathArt Pro version provides:

• Unlock all scenes, permanent upgrades
• Rendered images and video exports without any watermarks
• Animation support up to 120 frames, smoother and more fluid
• Periodic sharing of more scene creation scripts
• Official guidance, timely problem resolution

For watermark-free export and 4K rendering features. Activation steps are as follows:

1. Open Activation Window: Click the "Key" icon or "Pro" label in the upper right corner of the software's main interface.

2. Enter Email Address: In the pop-up window, you will see an Email field. Enter your email address.

3. Enter Activation Code: Send your Email Address to customer service to obtain a License Key. You will then receive an email containing the activation code. Enter the activation code from the email into the input field and click Activate. After successful activation, you will see the "Pro Version Unlocked" message.

⚙️ 4. Recommended Settings for First Run

To get the best visual experience and export quality, we recommend making the following settings before you start creating:

1. Open Settings Panel: Click the "Settings" button in the upper right corner of the interface.

2. Optimize Rendering Parameters: In the pop-up settings dialog box, we recommend the following adjustments:

   • Frame Rate (FPS): Set to 60 — Make animations smooth as silk.
   • Render Quality: Set to High — Enable anti-aliasing and high-precision rendering.
   • Output Directory: Click browse to select a folder with sufficient space as the video save path.

3. Save: Click "OK" to save settings.
