"Cannot open "MathArt" because the developer cannot be verified" or "MathArt is damaged and cannot be opened" [picture placeholder]
This is a normal system security check and does not indicate a problem with the software. Please follow these steps to allow the application to run:
Method 1: Through System Settings (Recommended)
a) When you see the security warning, click "Cancel"
b) Open "System Settings" → "Privacy & Security" [picture placeholder]
c) Scroll down to find "Security" section or look for the recent application blocking notification area
d) You will see MathArt listed as blocked. Click the "Open Anyway" or "Allow" button next to it [picture placeholder]
e) In the confirmation dialog that appears, enter your system password and click "OK"
f) Return to System Settings. MathArt should now be listed in the allowed applications
Method 2: Using Terminal (Quick Method)
If you're comfortable with the terminal, you can remove the quarantine attribute with this command:
xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MathArt.appThen launch the application normally.
⚠️ Note: This security prompt only appears on first launch. After completing the above steps, the application will work normally without any further action needed.
